There are basically two types of speed bumps; single and continuous.

The single-speed bumps are usually found on city roads, with a considerable volume of traffic. These types of speed bumps are usually located a couple of meters ahead of turnings, traffic signals, and crossings

• When it comes to continuous speed bumps, you would find four to five of them one after another. These bumps are mainly used on highways, where there are less traffic and drivers tend to keep pressing their accelerators. These speed bumps play a very important role in keeping the speed within a limit and making sure that that you never cross the red line, which can cause accidents and other kinds of mishaps.
