  • Scott Kleeb Launches Campaign Website

    by: Dave Sund

Sun Feb 24, 2008 at 19:33:27 PM CST

What was rumored is now official, as Scott Kleeb begins to roll out his campaign for United States Senate. His redesigned website is now online, and his campaign has sent out an official statement.
"Over the past several months, I've asked myself, my family, and people all over Nebraska how each of us can best honor our country, our heritage, and our traditions ...and how all of us together can make the changes we so desperately need.

We can either demand more of ourselves and our leaders, or we can settle for more of the same. We can demand new ideas that uphold our finest and oldest traditions, or we can settle for the same failed old policies. We can stand up, together, and have a say about our future or we can put our future in the same old hands that got us where we are today.

Others expect apathy. They expect us not to care. They expect us to settle for the same old thing. They are in for a big surprise this year.

This is the moment to come together, as friends, as neighbors, as Nebraskans to renew our state and our nation. In that great Nebraska tradition, I am ready to serve and play my part in making sure Nebraska's best days are ahead of us.

    Our time is now."

This is a call to action, for all Nebraskans. This is our time, this is our campaign. There is an excitement and energy that surrounded Kleeb for Congress in 2006, and I sense that same energy in this Senate race.

In the coming weeks and months, we will have an opportunity to see the candidates' stands on the issues and listen to their case to the voters. It's Scott Kleeb's appeal, that this campaign is bigger than him, that it's about all of us, and all Nebraskans, that distinguishes him from the other candidates. And it is why he would make the best choice for United States Senate.

    That's A Beautiful Website (0.00 / 0)
...and a great way to kick-off his campaign.

I'm also excited about the contest to design the Kleeb campaign's logo.  I've got no problem with campaign professionals, but this seems like a great way to channel the creativity of Kleeb's supporters and get people involved right out of the gate.  The deadline for submissions is March 10th.

Glad you like it, Kyle... (0.00 / 0)
Hey, everyone...Please head on off to the site, sign up for emails and think about a logo design for Scott's campaign....and donate, if you can.

    Thanks.
